It was in the Fall of 2014, Marissa was about to take on a huge undertaking: Organizing an office kickball league and cultivating a Championship Team to her employer. (Or maybe it was just to have fun, be social and find a sport that allows “beverages” in play, but for continuity purposes, we will go with Version 1.)
Knowing Marissa’s team was going to need help, a teammate decided to reach out to a ringer. Someone that he knew would not only bring feisty competitiveness to the team, but would also single-handedly bring up the average team age at least three years. So he reached out to Brett. That season ended in success, not because the team won the championship (we lost in the finals) but because Marissa and Brett had both met their match.
Fast forward through some relationships, employers, starting new companies, old dogs (we miss AU and the Gigs), a Leicester City Championship, another Red Sox Championship, four years of Brett trying to keep up with Marissa and new dogs, King and DD. Here we are, two people who want to share their special day in their special place with as many of their friends and family as possible. So, if you are on this site reading this, we're most likely talking about YOU... or you happened to randomly get to our website, hacked our easy code and you are now invited.
